We are delighted to welcome the vibrant talent, energy, and spirit of Cromwell College to this year’s Light Up Winter. Building on the success of last year’s involvement, this inspiring collaboration truly reflects the heart of our community—where young people step up, contribute their skills, and add their spark in meaningful and creative ways.
From budding entrepreneurs proudly running their own market stalls through the Young Enterprise Scheme, to dedicated students volunteering their time as part of the William Pike Challenge, and sporting teams lending muscle and grit to essential behind-the-scenes jobs—Cromwell College students are playing a vital role in bringing this event to life. Their enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment help create an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
We’re also very excited to welcome a number of the school’s talented musicians – including 45 South, The Bad Haircuts, and Mischa Tomlinson, to name a few – who’ll be lighting up the stage with live performances guaranteed to get the crowd moving.
With a mix of youthful energy, skill, and festive flair, these rising stars will help set the perfect tone for a magical evening.
Light Up Winter is much more than just an event; it’s a warming celebration of community connection across all ages and cultures, and a powerful platform for supporting the future leaders who are already making a difference—lighting up our community from the inside out.
It’s a glowing reminder that when we come together, we all shine a little brighter!
