Brought to you by the Cromwell & Districts Promotion Group, Light Up Winter began in 2017 as a simple idea — to bring a little warmth, joy, and togetherness to Cromwell during the darker months. Never in our wildest dreams did we imagine how deeply it would resonate with our community. Year after year, we've been amazed and humbled by the love and support shown by locals and out-of-town visitors.

town and for all of you who make it shine.

About Cromwell Promotions
The Cromwell & Districts Promotions Group (CDPG) has been encouraging people to play and stay in Cromwell since 1987. As a proud part of this thriving community, we support and drive many of the initiatives that help to make Cromwell a great destination to visit, and an even better place to live.
In addition to hosting Light Up Winter, the CDPG is behind events such as the Cromwell Half Marathon, the Cromwell Street Party & Fireworks, and the National Cherry Pit-Spit Championship to name a few. Besides these events, we promote the region and local businesses via various platforms, including www.cromwell.org.nz, Instagram & Facebook platforms.
